• Profile data: target IELTS band score, exam date (optional), preferred test type (Academic or General Training)
• Test responses: your answers in Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking modules, including text submissions and audio recordings
• Payment information: when purchasing Premium, payment details are processed by our payment provider (Payme, Click, or Uzcard). We do not store your card details on our servers.
• Communications: messages you send to our support team

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our platform, we automatically collect:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, test completion rates
• Device information: browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution
• Technical data: IP address, approximate location (country/city level), session duration
• Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7 for details

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• Service delivery: to provide IELTS practice tests, evaluate your performance, calculate band scores, and deliver feedback
• AI evaluation: your Writing submissions and Speaking recordings are processed by our AI system to provide instant feedback. Some submissions may be reviewed by certified teachers for quality control.
• Account management: to create and maintain your account, authenticate logins, and provide customer support
• Payment processing: to process Premium subscriptions and manage billing
• Communication: to send service-related notifications, updates, and respond to your inquiries
• Improvement: to analyze platform usage and improve our services, AI accuracy, and user experience
• Legal compliance: to comply with applicable laws and respond to legal requests

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on:

• Contract performance: to deliver the services you signed up for
• Your consent: for marketing communications and optional features (you can withdraw consent at any time)
• Legitimate interests: to improve our services, prevent fraud, and ensure platform security
• Legal obligations: to comply with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers: third-party services that help us operate the platform (hosting providers, payment processors, AI service providers, analytics tools). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• AI providers: your Writing and Speaking submissions are sent to AI evaluation services (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) for automated scoring. These submissions are processed but not used to train external AI models.
• Teachers/Examiners: certified IELTS teachers may review your submissions to provide additional feedback. They are bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or government authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan
• Business transfers: if our company is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred to the new owner (you will be notified)

5. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
• Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt or similar)
• Servers are protected by firewalls and access controls
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel only

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services:

• Account data: as long as your account is active, plus 12 months after deletion
• Test results and submissions: indefinitely, unless you request deletion
• Payment records: as required by tax and accounting laws (typically 5 years)
• Support communications: 2 years from last interaction

You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

Our servers may be located outside of Uzbekistan. By using our platform, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries that may have different data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites (such as social media, payment providers, or educational resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the Law "On Personal Data" (No. ZRU-547, dated July 2, 2019). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
